We all suffer loss in this life. That may be from a situation that you had no control over, from someone who has sinned against you, or it could even be from terrible things that you have done. We want you to know that there is hope in your situation, and we desire to come alongside you to help you heal.
Learning how to cast our cares upon the Lord and lean into His never-ending faithfulness
Sometimes sins are more than just isolated wrongs. We can develop sin habits that make life more difficult bringing guilt and shame. Some of us have also deeply hurt others. We are here to help you have victory over sin and mend what was broken through Christ
My name is Mark Lafleur, and I am the president and founder of 2C1 SoulCare.
I surrendered my life to Christ at the age of 16, and shortly after, I felt a clear call to Christian Ministry. I was a pastor for more than 10 years with fruitful ministry to young adults in Louisville, Kentucky and then as a lead pastor in northern Kentucky. Through a time of deep sorrow and suffering, I sought help from a friend who was a biblical counselor. I was greatly helped by his patient guidance and Christ-centered advice. As God began to work on my heart through my struggle, I felt a clear call help comfort others as I had been comforted. God taught me through His Word to rely on Him rather than my own strength, and I now desire that God would use my story to strengthen others, help those struggling with sin, and encourage those who are suffering to rely on our God who is able to raise the dead! 2C1 is a reference to 2 Corinthians 1:3-11 that talks about these truths. I believe part of why I went through what I did was so that I could comfort others with same comfort that I received from God! I look forward to helping you!
My name is Adilyn Reichwein, and I am a biblical counselor with 2C1!
I was raised in a Christian family, but fully started following Christ when I was 16 years old. A few years later when I was a sophomore in college, I felt compelled to get involved with ministry on my college campus and eventually started leading a Bible study. Through this Bible study, I had the opportunity to meet up regularly with a college girl who was going through a hard time. We talked about the difficulties she was experiencing, how scripture applied to her situation, and the comfort and hope she could have in Christ. It was through this experience that I felt called to become a biblical counselor. It was incredible to witness the power of God to transform her life, and I wanted to help others experience this as well. To become more equipped for this calling, I pursued a master’s degree in biblical counseling at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I feel passionate about coming alongside others in their difficulties and helping them experience true hope, peace, and comfort in Christ.
